Thankful Thanksgiving!

It’s Thanksgiving week and I thought I would share with you some of the things I am thankful for.

First off, I am thankful for you guys! I would not have made it through the year if it wasn’t for the support of my readers and clients. I want to thank you all for coming back each week and reading what I have to say. I hope that the things that I have posted has helped you be a better photographer.

I am thankful for my husband, my stand in model, my assistant on shoots, my best friend, my soulmate. This has been a hard year for me and he has stood by my side since day one. We are about to celebrate the holidays together for the first time as husband and wife, and I am so excited for what the future has in store for us.

I am thankful for our fur-family, as probably most of you know we have two rescue animals, a goofy Yellow Lab named Winchester and a fat and sassy Torbie named Lorelei. We adopted Lorelei in 2013 when I was going to school and hubby was working late nights. She was the little friend I needed when I would sit at home and study. Winchester came along a little over a year later. And then we had the perfect pair.

I am thankful for all of the friends and family that I have. They are the biggest support group that I could have ever asked for. They have all taught me a lot of things, and I appreciate all the the things that they have each done for me over the years, including just being there and being a friend/family.

I am thankful for good health, a bed to sleep in, money in the bank, a roof over my head, and the food in my fridge.

I am thankful for our armed forces, firefighters, police officers, and EMTs.

I am thankful for campfires, cameras, chocolate, sunsets, music, weekends, and laughter.

I would love to hear what you are thankful for, please email, comment below, or shoot me a private message on Facebook.
