Hi everyone! I am back from our trip. It was amazing, with such wonderful sights to see! This week I thought I would go through some of my photos with you and share some of my absolute favorites!
On our first day, we drove from Sequim, Washington to Bay Center, Washington where we were staying in a KOA. On our way there we drove over the Elwah River and down below there was a herd of ELK! It was incredible! We continued down Highway 101 and stopped at La Push, Forks and Ruby Beach before heading to our campsite.
The next day we drove from Bay Center and spent the day in the Long Beach area, exploring Ilwaco and the state parks in the area. This area was absolutely gorgeous even with the gray overcast, it made for some wonderful coast pictures.
On day three, we headed down 101 to Oregon and visited Cannon Beach. After exploring the area a little bit and walking the beach. We headed to Lincoln City where we stayed at Devil’s Lake State Park. The photos below were taken at Cannon Beach, an outlook we found along the highway, and the sunset at Taft Beach in Lincoln City.
The following day we ventured to Otter Rock and Devil’s Punchbowl, Lost Creek, and Seal Rock. The first image below was taken at Depoe Bay Sea Wall, The Worlds Smallest Harbor. Watching boats leave the harbor out to sea was amazing to watch. The next photo was taken at Devil’s Punchbowl looking down at the beach below. And finally, the last image was taken at Seal Rock of my husband.
And on the final day, we left Lincoln City and drove up to Portland. Tired and ready to go home and see our furbabies, we didn’t see much. But the architecture in the area was beautiful and definitely have to go again.
I hope you enjoyed this week’s blog and are super excited for the photo challenge starting this week! I would love to hear from you, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please leave me a comment, email, or private message me on Facebook!
